About Artzy
ArtArtzy (Artzy) is an English-speaking, disabled VTuber who enjoys streaming games and interacting with her viewers. She’s named after the term “artsy” due to her creative nature and love for all things art related. The character “Artzy” was created nearly a decade ago as an original character, and is now her own brand and being.Artzy loves to learn new things and experiment with VTuber technology. She’s always adding new things to her streams and enjoys creating new models and assets. Her idea of a fun stream is enabling ways for her viewers to interact with her model and events on stream. Whether it’s allowing chat to throw items at her or making fun changes to her model, like voice effects or changing her model all together.She is designed to be a Video Game Companion, and so she refers to her viewers as Gamers. Her community space is known as The Artzy Zone (may change). Her community is welcoming to anyone and everyone, regardless of identity, sexuality, race or disability.Her aesthetic is inspired by vaporwave and retro video games, she also enjoys bright vivid colors and synthwave music. Her favorite video games are The Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Genshin Impact, Pokémon, and Hatsune Mike: Project Diva.Artzy is always working hard towards her goal, which is to become a full time content creator and streamer. She wishes to make streaming her full time job and hopes to become more financially independent.
Artzy's Disability
Artzy was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Type 1) before she was born. Osteogenesis Imperfecta (O.I) is a condition that causes a mutation in her genes that affects bone formation, bone strength, and the structure of other tissues. As a result, her skin and bones are much weaker than the average person. She has had over 50+ broken bones and 10 surgeries to either correct or strengthen her bones using metal rods, screws or pins.Due to her past injuries, she is unable to walk far distances and sometimes requires a wheelchair. She’s able to take care of herself in her own home, but is unable to do certain everyday tasks. She suffers from past break pains and other chronic pain. Because of this, she is unable to have a normal job, and is currently making her content creating her full time job. She hopes to become more financially independent with her streaming.She spent a majority of her childhood in and out of the hospital, and was bound to a walker and wheelchair. After years of physical therapy and surgeries, she’s now able to walk on her own, with the assistance of a cane. While being in the hospital or recovering, playing video games and doing art kept her spirits up. Which is why her mission is to become a “distraction” for people going through a rough day or just trying to escape reality. She hopes to create a space for people to forget about their worries and to just have fun.Her biggest goal in streaming is to do more fundraisers to bring video games into children’s hospitals. She knows first hand how a video game can help a child forget about their condition and give them a way to escape. Her and her community has raised over $2,000 with Gamers Outreach to make this happen.

Artzy was created by a lonely, video game loving, shut-in who craved the company of someone who wouldn't judge him for his way of life. He wished to have a companion, someone who would cheer him on during final boss fights or to help guide him through his game. The past video game creator started his long journey to creating his very own video game companion.Years of hard work later, he created a rough beta-version of Artzy. After a freak accident with his computer, she gained sentience and free will. She was now her own being, with the ability to be uploaded to any video game and adapt to it's world. She also has the ability to change the contents of the game, but she has little control of this power and ends up glitching the game instead.Artzy and her creator became very close and were inseparable, they were content with wasting the day away playing games. One day, Artzy discovered that her gamer had vanished. She learned that she was somehow uploaded to the internet, and is now on her search to find her creator. While searching for him, she discovered online gaming. Her main mission is to find her creator, but she also wants to help other gamers along the way.
